For a trip of this size and undertaking to be done by a church this small, prayer is the most essential part of it. If the only thing you can do is to pray for us and the people of southern Sudan this would help our journey most of all. The following is a list of specific things that we can begin to pray for.

:. Pray that the people in the Akot-Rumbek area would recieve the gospel with open hearts and open minds.

:. Pray that the Holy Spirit would begin even now to heal the people and their land.

:. Pray for safe travel for the missionaries and the trip, as well as the families that they are leaving behind.

:. Pray for the missionaries and Christians on the ground now that they would be encouraged and strengthened.
