Help Us Help Haiti
FMBC is Accepting Donations of
All Kinds for Haiti.
As this tragedy continues to unfold, it looks like it may well be the
worst humanitarian disaster in our lifetimes. Pastor Tim Ahlen
encourages everyone to dig deep and help us as we do what we can to help
Haiti. How can you help?
- Above all else, pray for the people of Haiti
and the relief workers who will be on the ground working to
relieve the suffering. Specifically, pray that God will
provide food, water, healthcare and shelter for the hundreds of
thousands of survivors. Pray also that evil will be kept in
check during this time. To help you pray, click on this link to go
to a video prayer guide:

- Dig deep and donate. The biggest need right now is for
clean water. Some of this will need to be shipped in.
Longer term, water purification filters will need to be distributed.
FMBC is working with the Great Commission
Initiative and Texas Baptist Men to
provide water filters, which will begin shipping within the week.
If you would like to make a tax-deductable donation online, click on
the Donate link below. If you would like to donate by
check, please make out your check to Forest Meadow Baptist Church,
and mail it (or bring it) to 9150 Church Rd., Dallas, TX 75231.
Your contributions will be tax-deductible. If you request, we
will provide receipts to you showing how your contributions were
spent.
- We are also accepting contributions of clothing, health
and hygiene items, and children's toys. If you would like to
donate any of these items, bring them to the church and leave then
in the front foyer.
