More than thirty years ago a cross was planted along with several live oak trees in front of the FMBC building. Over the years, the oaks grew, ultimately obscuring the cross so that no one could see it.
It is no longer invisible, but stands tall as a witness to the Lake Highlands Community.
Thanks to the hard work of Bob Paramore, Ben Davidson, B.J. Stephenson and Ernesto, the cross has been moved to a more visible location.
